Hieronder de 20 populairste stranden van boven (Westpunt) naar beneden (Jan Thiel) De tijden zijn autominuten vanaf de Octopus. Hierachter staat de entree prijs. Voor de ligbedjes moet je overal betalen. Reken op 2,50 tot 15 euro per bedje. Je kunt bijna overal gratis parkeren bij de stranden. Vaak is er ook bewaking aanwezig.

This is one of the nicer beaches of Curacao. It can be reached via a steep staircase. The beach is not only beautiful because of the clear water and fine sandy beach, but also because of its beautiful location against the cliffs. Hence the name Kalki (from the limestone cliffs).

11. Daaibooi Bay This is one of the lesser known beaches of Curacao, but one of the most beautiful and it certainly has the nicest name. It is a quiet beach without fuss. The big advantage is that it has shallow water and is therefore very suitable for families and people who want to snorkel. There are some beach umbrellas and a small bar where they also sell snacks.

Dit is een van de minder bekende stranden van Curacao, maar wel een van de mooiste en het heeft zeker de leukste naam. Het is een rustig strand zonder poespas. Het grote voordeel is dat het ondiep water heeft en dus zeer geschikt is voor gezinnen en mensen die willen snorkelen. Er zijn een aantal strandparasols en een kleine bar waar ze ook snacks verkopen.

Jan Thiel Beach is waarschijnlijk het bekendste strand van. Een deel van het strand is opgespoten om het zandstrand groter te maken. Bij dit strand vind je ook diverse winkels, sfeervolle restaurants en bars.
20.Tug Boat Beach
Excellent snorkeling spot especially the left (back to the beach) it's beautiful with lots of fish. Near the white buoy (past the large pillars, past the Quarantine House) is the tugboat in front of the drop down, also clearly visible for snorkelers. It is a stone beach with a kind of hippie bar where you also have some shade and you can rent beds.

20.Tug Boat Beach
Uitstekende snorkel plek vooral links (rug naar het strand) is het mooi met veel vissen. In de buurt van de witte boei (voorbij de grote pilaren, voorbij het Quarantainehuis) ligt voor de drop down de tugboat, ook voor snorkelaars goed zichtbaar.
Het is een stenenstrand met een soort hippie bar waar je ook wat schaduw hebt en bedjes kan huren.

En een schitterende snorkel locatie. De stranden zijn van het witste wit en het water is nog blauwer dan de likeur.
Het middelpunt van het eiland is een oude vuurtoren en aan de achterkant van het eiland vind je enkele verroeste scheepswrakken. Een desolate plek, maar wel fotogeniek.
Je kunt dit verborgen plekje als dagtocht bezoeken per boot. Wij hebben dit met de Mermaid gedaan en dat was zeer goed verzorgd inclusief een heerlijke uitgebreide BBQ.
And a beautiful snorkeling location. The beaches are of the whitest white and the water is even bluer than the liqueur.
The centerpiece of the island is an old lighthouse and at the back of the island you will find some rusted shipwrecks. A desolate place, but photogenic.
You can visit this hidden spot as a day trip by boat. We did this with the Mermaid and it was very well taken care of, including a delicious extensive BBQ.

Altijd lekker en gezellig bij Kokomo. Je kunt hier terecht voor een Lunch, een snack (de nacho`s zijn verrukkelijk) maar ook gewoon een prima broodje kroket of frietje.
Op zondag is er vanaf 5 uur Happy hour met live muziek (er mag gedanst worden) en 1 keer in de maand wordt het nachtwerk tijdens de roemruchte full moon party.
